4 balloon tickets have been returned.

2 from Holland

1 from Sweden

                                                 1 from Denmark

The winner is ticket 2942 released by Robbie Birtwell from Cromer Pier on 08/08/11 and landed in Hamburgsund in Sweden.

It was an early start on Sunday 5 June for our annual walk in the Park. This year it was held at Felbrigg Estate which is owned by the National Trust. It was a very successful and enjoyable day. We would like  to thank the National Trust for allowing us to hold this special event. Many thanks to all who took part in the walk and the generosity of their sponsors. The Group would like to thank Ros from Head Office for presenting all walkers with their medals. A range of photos can be seen on the gallery page 2.

UPDATE ON EVENTS 2011

It was an early start on Saturday 13 August when we held our Arty Crafty Afair at Cromer. There was a wide range of stalls laden with goods from home made cakes and jams to knitted toys, hand made cards and various plants and a tombola was held on the day as was our annual balloon race. Refreshments were also served thoughout the day.

This was  the third year for the group and it turned out to be a very successful and enjoyable day. Many thanks to all concerned for their help and generosity. A range of photos can be seen on the gallery page one.

August Bank Holiday Monday was taken up by running the groups Human Fruit Machine and Annual Balloon Race at the Aylsham Show, just a short trip from the Cromer Pier where we were the previous day. A big thank you to all helpers and supporters on both sunshining days. We have had very successful appearances on Cromer Pier this year and would like to thank the Pier Management and everybody who has supported us and made the events so enjoyable. Our last vist this year will be on Sunday 5 September.

The Fakenham Parish Church Christmas Tree Festival 2011 was held on Thursday 1st December to Thursday 8th December 10.00am to 8.00pm. The trees looked fantastic, especially when they were lit up. The festival gets more popular every year and is well worth a visit. An event worth noting for 2012, in fact this year was the most successful ever.
